Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect one thing: what you tell us when you fill in our contact form. We use it to have a conversation with you. We don’t sell it, we don’t share it outside Fortress, and we don’t add you to a marketing list without asking. Our assessments don’t collect anything at all. If you want your information removed, email us and we’ll remove it.

The rest of this page explains that in full.

Who we are

Fortress Performance Partners LLC (“Fortress,” “we,” “us”) operates fortress-performance.com. We are located at 5807 Fulton St E, Ada, MI 49301. You can reach us at hello@fortress-performance.com.

What this policy covers

This policy covers information collected through this website.

It does not cover information Fortress handles while delivering work for a client. That is governed by the agreement between Fortress and that client — including, where applicable, a data processing agreement or a business associate agreement — and by our internal data handling standards. If you are a client and want to understand how we handle your organization’s data during an engagement, ask us and we will send you our security and data handling overview.

What we collect

When you complete our contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, work email address, company and role, your answer to the dropdown question about what’s limiting your performance, whatever you write in the free-text field, and — optionally — your organization’s approximate revenue size.

If you arrive at the contact form by way of our free readiness assessment, your result — your overall score, readiness stage, and dimension-level scores — travels with you and is included in your submission, so we have context for the conversation before we have it. That only happens if you click through from the assessment; it is never sent to us otherwise.

When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. That is the complete list of information you actively give us.

What we do not collect

Our free readiness assessment does not collect anything on its own. It is calculated and shown to you in your own browser. Your answers are not stored, not transmitted to us, and not associated with you — unless you choose to carry your result forward into a contact-form submission, as described above.

Our Target Operating Model assessment does not collect client data either. It is an observational engagement — we review how your results are presented and used, not your underlying records. Nothing is extracted, transferred or retained. Confidentiality obligations still apply to everything we see and discuss.

We do not run advertising trackers, analytics pixels or third-party marketing tags on this site.

Information collected automatically

Our website is hosted by Webflow. Like any web host, Webflow’s servers record standard technical information when a page is requested — such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request — and use a small number of cookies necessary for the site and its forms to work. We use this only to keep the site running and secure. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.

Scheduling

Our Contact page includes a “Pick a time directly” link that opens a scheduling window powered by Calendly. If you use it, Calendly collects whatever information you provide to book that time and sets its own cookies, governed by Calendly’s own privacy policy rather than this one.

Why we use your information

We use what you give us to respond to your enquiry, prepare for a conversation with you, and follow up on that conversation. If you become a client, we use it to administer the relationship.

We do not currently run an email marketing or newsletter program. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask before adding anyone to a list, and every marketing email we send will let you stop receiving them.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We share it only with service providers who help us operate — currently Webflow, which hosts the site; Formspree, which routes contact-form submissions to our hello@fortress-performance.com inbox; and Calendly, if you choose to schedule through it. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form submissions and correspondence for 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you become a client, engagement records are kept under the terms of our agreement with you.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See below.

How we protect it

Access to enquiry information is limited to the people at Fortress who need it to respond to you. It is held in systems that require multi-factor authentication. We review who has access periodically and remove it when someone no longer needs it.

No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously — the discipline we bring to client engagements applies to our own operations.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete it
  • Stop contacting you

Email hello@fortress-performance.com and we will act on it. We will not make it difficult, and we will not require you to explain why.

Visitors outside the United States

Fortress currently markets to and serves organizations in the United States, and this website and the information you send us are hosted and processed there. If you are contacting us from outside the United States, understand that your information will be handled under U.S. law rather than the law of your own country.

Children

This site is for business use. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so on the site.
