Enterprise Performance

When the constraint is how the organization operates.

We start by clarifying your strategic objectives and the core business processes that deliver them. Then we help your leadership team strengthen the disciplines that turn strategy into execution: clear priorities, accountability, decision rights, management cadence, cross-functional alignment, and performance visibility.

So growth adds profit instead of chaos, and the business no longer runs through the owner.

The symptoms

Your strategy cannot outperform the system carrying it.

Too many priorities

Multiple initiatives compete for the same people and attention, and none lands fully.

The owner is the coordination layer

Decisions and cross-functional work route through you or a few leaders instead of a clear system.

Work crosses teams without an owner

End-to-end results belong to no one, so they belong to everyone.

Meetings multiply

Cadence produces updates, not decisions.

Measures report activity

Dashboards describe the past and do not change behavior.

Change does not stick

Improvement efforts fade because ownership and capability were never built.

What we examine

Five areas where execution breaks down.

Direction

Priorities, objectives, and what is worth funding this year.

Work design

How work flows across functions, from strategy to daily activity.

Seats and decision rights

Who owns what, whether each role has the right person in it, and who decides.

Cadence and measures

The management rhythm and the numbers that drive action.

Capability to change

Whether the organization can sustain what it improves.

We assess these five areas against five principles, and report the constraint, not an average score.

The standard behind it

Five principles of an organization that runs without depending on any one person.

Your leadership team is assessed against these five principles in Diagnose, and the operating system we install is built on them. Each is assessed in detail, so a gap points to exactly what to fix.

01

Lead with Purpose & Respect

A clear vision and values leaders live with integrity. The right people in the right roles, putting their skills to full use, with decisions made at the right level. Leaders who listen, engage their people and develop the next layer of leaders.

02

Create Enduring Value

Listen to current, lost and prospective customers to learn what they value and will pay for. Choose where to focus, build an advantage others can't easily copy, and run a business model that delivers that value profitably, keeps customers loyal and adapts as markets change.

03

Steward the Whole System

Run the business as one connected system: cash and profit, customers, people, operations, information, technology and AI, assets, partners, and risk and compliance, so a change in one is felt in the others. Each has a named owner and clear accountability.

04

Build Excellence into the Work

Documented core processes and standard work, value streams that flow to customer demand, and problems solved where they start through facts and data, with quality built in at the source so results are reliable every day without heroics.

05

Align, Learn & Improve

A balanced scorecard that measures what matters, so it drives the right behaviors and decisions. Quarterly priorities that reach every team, a daily and weekly meeting rhythm, and every improvement locked in as the new standard. That is how you gain traction.

Every contributor to the work, whether a person, a tool, AI or a partner, is accountable to the same results under the same principles.

The implementation path

From diagnosis to a system your team runs without us.

Four phases. What changes with the size of your organization is depth and time: how long we spend diagnosing and designing, how many teams we install with, and how often we meet after that.

Before phase 1: Clarify

A 20-minute Clarity Session and the Constraint Assessment clarify your strategic objectives, the core business processes that deliver them, and what improving them is worth. Clarify first, then diagnose. No cost.

Diagnose to proven results

About 3 to 4 months, then sustain.

Phase 1

Diagnose

2 to 3 weeks, about 5 to 8 working days with you

Your leadership team is assessed against a proven standard for how excellent organizations lead, operate and improve. We find the constraint before anyone prescribes a fix.

  • Leadership sessions and interviews, scored across the five areas
  • Evidence gathered from how work actually runs, not from surveys
  • A readout that names the constraint, the economics, and what to fix first

You leave with: where you stand today, the constraint, and what it is costing.

Phase 2

Design

4 to 6 weeks, about 5 to 8 working days with you

Turn the diagnosis into an operating model your leaders agree to: priorities, decision rights, management cadence, measures, and ownership.

  • Working sessions with your leadership team and the people who run the work
  • Decision rights, a weekly accountability meeting and the measures that drive it, defined and pressure-tested
  • A sequenced install plan with named owners and exit criteria

You leave with: a design your leaders have agreed, and an install sequence ordered by constraint.

Phase 3

Implement & Prove

1 to 2 months

Working days with your team to learn the principles behind the gaps and build the plans to close them. Each session installs something real before the next one starts.

  • Three working days, about three weeks apart
  • A weekly accountability meeting, then a daily huddle at a pilot team
  • Your first improvement run by your own people
  • Coaching calls between sessions

You leave with: a working rhythm, a method for solving problems, and evidence that it is changing results.

Phase 4

Sustain & Transfer

Quarterly, half a day

A regular session to check performance, set strategy, and agree the owned initiatives and measures for the next quarter.

  • Progress re-scored against the same standard, so improvement is measured and not just reported
  • Three to five owned initiatives set for the next quarter
  • KPIs reviewed against targets

You leave with: leaders who run the rhythm themselves.

GraduationAround month 12

Your team facilitates its own quarterly session and your constraint areas hold steady without us. After that, an annual reassessment keeps you honest.

Growing, handing off, or preparing to sell?

A business that runs on a system, not on its owner.

The same operating discipline that frees the owner from the bottleneck is what makes a business easier to scale, hand to a successor, or take to a buyer.

  • Priorities and decisions owned by the leadership team
  • Key roles have a named backup or successor
  • Core workflows documented, measured and run by your people
  • Results visible in a scorecard a successor or buyer can read

That system is a moat: the part of the value a buyer, a successor or a competitor can't copy by hiring one person or buying one tool.

When a sale or succession is on the horizon, Exit Value Enhancement closes the remaining gaps and puts the evidence in order for a buyer's diligence.

What stays the same

Three commitments that shape every engagement.

Something is installed between sessions

Training alone rarely changes how work gets done. Every working day ends with a practice running in a real team, and the next day starts by reviewing it.

Progress is scored, not just reported

Each quarter we reassess the areas you worked on against the same standard used at the start. You see whether the system is maturing, not only whether tasks were completed.

The engagement has an end

Exit criteria are agreed up front. An operating system that depends on its installer is not an operating system.

Already running a management system?

Keep it.

Works alongside what you have

We work alongside the system you already run and build the daily management and problem-solving layer underneath it.

Questions

Enterprise Performance: common questions

What is Enterprise Performance?

A service that strengthens how a leadership team sets priorities, assigns accountability, makes decisions and keeps a management cadence, so strategy turns into execution.

When is it the right fit?

When the constraint is how the organization operates: decisions pile up on the owner, priorities slip, or ownership is unclear. If the friction is inside a specific workflow, Workflow Performance fits better.

Will the business still depend on me afterward?

Less so. The goal is clear seats, decision rights and a cadence that runs without you, so the business can grow, or be handed off, without everything going through the owner.

Do you install a fixed framework?

No. We draw on proven operational and organizational disciplines and select what fits the situation, rather than installing one methodology.

See if this fits your organization.

Start with a Clarity Session to clarify your strategic objectives and core processes, or take the 12-minute Constraint Assessment. The fee scales with the number of days each phase takes: a larger organization needs more days, not a different price list.
